在杏园进行覆草对土壤肥力和杏产量与品质的影响研究表明：覆草能有效地稳定土壤温度，保持和提高土壤水分；降低土壤容重，增加土壤总孔隙度和通气孔度．减少无效孔度；增加土壤有机质和养分含量，改善果树营养，提高杏产量和品质。

The studies on covering grass on the field of orchard shows that grass cover can keep warmth

moisture of the field

regulate soil structure

increase organic matter

and fertilize the land to improve apricot's yield and quality.
