系统地阐述了土地生产潜力研究的发展过程

并把这个过程分为生物产量的直接测定、潜力与生态因子的相互关系研究、生理生态过程与潜力的关系研究3个阶段

分析了各阶段的特点和存在的问题

并对土地生产潜力计算方法作了简要评述

提出了今后的研究方向.
