Taking watershed of Tianmu lake as the study area

using the method of remote sensing

geographical information and landscape ecology

this paper systematically analyzed the dynamic change and landscape response from 1984 to 2004 in the study area.The result indicated that the stage characteristic of land use change was very outstanding in recent 20 years

the stage from 2000 to 2004 was the most striking

14.75% land changed in this period

the average change rate was 3.68%

and the space scope of the land developped was expanding acutely;landscape indices respond to land use change had distinctly spatial and temporal characteristics;landscape indices in the region towards the lake had changed severely than the region deviating the lake;landscape indices in the downstream section of rivers which flow into the lake had changed severely than the upper area;the stage characteristic of land use change was consistent with the trend of water quality deteriorating.
